Are you ready to add functionality and style to your sewing projects with zipper closures?

This three hour techniques class will teach you how to sew different zipper closures. You will learn different zipper applications such as:

  • Lapped (eg. front of a pants)
  • Invisible (eg. side of a dress)
  • Centred (eg. front of a hoodie)

Students will make a sample of each style in class to use as a reference for future projects. The cost of the class includes all required materials.

*Some prior sewing experience is an asset. This class has a three person minimum class registration and may be rescheduled if minimum is not reached. Contact us for group registrations.

Fun Fact: The zipper as we know it was first launched at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair by Whitcomb L. Judson.
