Description

In this three hours (3 hrs) soap making workshop, you will learn the basics of how to make cold processed soap using natural oils, butters, essential oils and lye (NaOH).

We will create a soap recipe and discuss the benefits of all natural ingredients and essential oils. You will make a small batch of soap (approx. six bars) by combining ingredients. We recommend that you wear long sleeves. Gloves and eye protection will be provided.

This is an adult class; however, children 11+ are welcome to register along with a registered accompanying adult. All materials will be provided; however, you are welcome to bring your own essential oils (contact us for details).

You will leave this workshop with a fully cured ready to use soap and a recipe that you can use in the future. You will also have soaps that must be cured for 4 to 6 weeks before use.

OPTION 1: Use silicone soap molds in class and pick-up your soaps after they cure (4 to 6 weeks).
OPTION 2: You can purchase your silicone soap mold with your class registration.
