This class is designed to get you familiar with a serger. This is not a project based class. If you will like to expand your skills, check out our T-Shirt or Leggings class.

This serger class is one 3-hours session.

Description

This Serger Basics class is the best place to start if you have never used a serger and will like to learn the basics. Learn how to use your serger and get the finished look you want for your sewing projects.

What you will learn:

Learn how to (based on machine features):

  • thread the machine
  • finish seams
  • adjust tension
  • cut width
  • differential feed
  • create a rolled hem

This is not a project based class, but you are welcome to bring a project along. We suggest you bring your machine manual if available.
