This online Beginner Sewing class is the perfect place to start if you are learning to sew for the first time or if you are looking to refresh your sewing skills. This class meets online for six weeks, for a total of twelve hours of instruction.
Sessions will range from one to two hours long, and is made up of group lectures and one on one tutorials. All sessions are presented live via Zoom by an instructor and is supported by pdf worksheets and some prerecorded video content.

You will develop the skills and confidence needed to explore new sewing projects. No prior sewing experience is required for this class. There is lots of opportunity for one-on-one attention and feedback, in both lectures and tutorials.
Commercial sewing pattern and materials (Beginner Sewing Class Kit) are included. Curb side pick up or Canada Post shipping is available for the kit and will be scheduled at the start of the class. Please note that shipping and handling cost are billed separately, based on Canada Post rates.
You are required to have a sewing machine and the tools needed to participate in this class.
