Crafted Spaces provides private sewing lessons to individuals and private groups. If you will like a little help along the way or have a schedule that makes it difficult to commit to our group classes; then consider our private by-the-hour lessons. Our one hour sessions are priced at $30 per hour. Blocks of time are also available and are based on beginner, intermediate and advance level pricing.
Sessions are scheduled based on available days and times. Classes are available on an ongoing basis and are focused on helping you develop the skills you need. We provide one-on-one assistance with projects you will like to make.
Sewing machines and tools are available. Sessions are available for children and adults. Beginner, intermediate and advanced students are welcome.

If you are working on a sewing or craft project or simply looking for a fun, creative space to work, then book time at Crafted Spaces.
Our Sew-and-Craft-by-the-Hour is available at $8 + HST per hour (one hour minimum). Studio time is available by appointment; on a first come first served basis. You must have some sewing experience to use our machines or you are welcome to bring your own machine.
Our studio provides quality sewing machines, sergers, specialty machines, cutting table and tools. We also have an expert sewer and crafter on hand to help answer any questions. Sessions are available for children and adults.

Crafted Spaces is more than just a studio, we provide an opportunity for you to explore your creativity. If you have always wanted to start your own creative business and will like to know how, then join as we focus on how to develop your creative business. Join us for a series of workshops that focus on the steps needed to start and manage a creative business. We hope that our series will inform, inspire and motivate you. At Crafted Spaces we love a good party. So each month we have a fun community event that is open to the entire family. Join us for our Free Sew and Craft, which is held on the last Friday of each month. Bring along your sewing and craft project and create with us. Light refreshments are available. Crafted spaces was established in 2010 at the home based studio of owner Yvette-Michelle Cottle Darby, in Shanty Bay, Oro Medonte. Yvette-Michelle has been a creative business person since 1994. She started off with her own line of fashion accessories and managed her own accessories boutique in Toronto.
Whether you are a beginner or someone looking to refresh your skills, our talented and experienced instructors are happy to share with you and guide you through the learning process. Classes are available for children and adults and all skill levels are welcome. We are also available for parties, private group classes and workshops at select locations in Barrie, Toronto, and surrounding areas.
