Crafted Spaces Sewing & Creative Design Registration Details

Your registration in a class or workshop is not confirmed until you have completed the registration process and submitted a deposit or payment in full. Attendance is by pre-registration only. We do not accept walk-in registrations. If you want to register for a class that has already begun, please contact us at create@craftedspaces.com.

Deposit and Payments: All payments are payable to Crafted Spaces. A 30% deposit is required to hold your spot. This deposit may be nonrefundable for some classes and workshops. Payments are payable by cash, cheque, credit card, money order, e-transfers or PayPal. Payments by cheque or money order are accepted by mail or can be dropped off at our studio. Please do not mail cash. You can make a credit card payment online via PayPal or at our studio. E-transfer payments should be forwarded to create@craftedspaces.com.

The balance of your payment is due on or before your first day of class unless other payment arrangements have been made. If you choose to pay during the first day of class, we will only accept cash or a credit card payment. Cheques and money orders should be made prior, and are payable to Crafted Spaces. Should Crafted Spaces need to cancel a class or workshop, a refund will be provided or you can choose to have your payment(s) credited toward another programme.

Missing a class session: If you are unable to attend a class session, we may be able to accommodate you on another day within the week or at a future date. Please inform us 24 hours in advance of any cancelations. You will be contacted via telephone or email to schedule a make-up class.

    • The course outline requires that you have a make-up class.
    • We ask that you do not change classes more than three times in an eight or six week session and no more than twice in a four or five week session.
    • Due to limited seating, Crafted Spaces may not be able to accommodate your class change.
    • Missed classes cannot be refunded or transferred to a future session.

Holidays and weather: Classes and workshops at Crafted Spaces run as scheduled; however, we do not hold sessions during holidays and sessions may be cancelled due to severe weather conditions. If there are any changes to your schedule, you will be contacted by telephone or email. A make-up date can be arranged.

Walk-in and late registrations: Walk-in registrations during the first day of class will not be accepted. If you are interested in registering for a programme that has already started or if you were unable to register prior to the first day of class, please email create@craftedspaces.com or call 705-828-7096 to register before the second week of class. We will try our best to make arrangements for you to make-up the first session you missed.

Cancellations (before class begins): If you are unable to attend the class or workshop in which you are enrolled, you must let us know at least 7 days before the scheduled start date. At that point, you can either have your deposit returned to you (less a $25 administration fee), or you can put the full deposit amount toward another class or future session. If you register for a class or program within one week of the scheduled start date, or if you stop attending within one week of the start date, no portion of your deposit will be returned to you. Some classes may have a 30% nonrefundable deposit in addition to our administration fee or a specific cancellation deadline (contact for more information).

Refunds (after class has begun): There will be no refunds if you are not able to continue your class at Crafted Spaces. However, depending on class size, we may be able to accommodate you in a subsequent class. If Crafted Spaces cancels a class or workshop for any reason, you will receive notice in writing, by telephone and/or email. In this case; you may receive a full refund, prorated refund for the outstanding sessions or you can choose to receive a credit towards a future programme.

Make-up and repeat classes: If you want to repeat a lesson that you have already taken or if you missed a session and will like to make-up the lesson, you can join us in a future session. Repeat lessons are subject to a $25 fee. Email us at create@craftedspaces.com to make arrangements. Space is subject to availability.
